Savings can be achieved in MCR production by optimizing the use of aggregates. Engineer Ndigui Billon, from the university institute MIPROMALO in Cameroon, has analyzed the different natural sands of his country and has encountered a formula to achieve a 30% savings in materials. He based his investigations on various publications, particularly the EcoSouth “Technical Sheet: Designing effective sand a mortar mixes for MCR roof tiles”. The report of his work (in French) is available following this link (200 Kb, PDF) |
